And I didn't even get a frickin DVD.

quote=james cattau]After going every year since 2000 I have attended my last Brickyard 400.

For many reasons....

1. The race was extremely boring.

2. The rude staff, don't get me wrong some of them were cool, but I had multiple encounters wife the yellow shirt staff where they were having a power trip and being down right rude.

3. I was 71st in the initial count for Jeff Gordon wristbands, ended up being 101 after the staff let people cut in line.

4. Lined up for AJ Allmendinger, he didn't show and I get a frickin DVD and no autograph? I talked to AJ's wife and she said AJ never even knew about the Autograph Session.

5. Lackluster entertainment. Half the drivers didn't show up to sign autographs and that was the only reason I came in on Friday.

Sorry IMS I could tell things were going down hill before I went this year and you did nothing to help yourself. Your decling attendance just lost 6 people, not because we don't have the money but because we will go somewhere worth going.[/quote]

I was there @ 10:30pm the night before and yeah the 2nd line on the west side of the gate started, but I was still the 2nd one outta all of those people in line at the gate to get a wristband.   I was about 34th in the wristband line.

But you are correct....someone is going to get hurt or killed by people running down the tunnel and stuff.   I know there was someone who passed out who was in line.   I don't know if they got a wristband or not.]]>
